What Happens When the Toxic Alienating Parent Gets Custody

This is what has happened in Ron's situation. After his children's abduction, the dysfunctional toxic parent, a stage 3 obsessed alienator, was awarded custody by the court in Texas County, Oklahoma even though Ron requested they be put into foster care rather then being left with her for their own safety and well being. Ron's Response to the Court. Now, 15 years later his children are displaying severe symptoms of Parental Alienation Syndrome and a shared Psychotic Delusion of Abuse. Here is the link to info on Folie a Deux- Madness Shared by Two and Parental Alienation Syndrome. We've encouraged mental health counselling for his children and he has offered to pay for Psychiatric care to no avail.

However, we've come to understand that there are no effective treatments for either the obsessed alienator or the children. The courts and mental health professionals are helpless. The only hope for these children is early identification of the symptoms and prevention. After the alienation is entrenched and the children become "true believers" in the parent’s cause, the children are lost to the other parent for years to come. We realize this is a sad statement, but we have yet to find an effective intervention, by anyone, including the courts that can rehabilitate the alienating parent and child.
